- Kimberly Adams Tufts is an Associate Professor of Nursing at Old Dominion University College of Health Science and is currently leading an initiative to establish an interdisciplinary research team for the purpose of studying the self-care patterns of HIV-positive women. As a nursing advocate for 25 years, Dr. Adams Tufts has campaigned for greater access to health care for vulnerable populations and underserved populations including the elderly, the impoverished, and minorities.
