- Emily Bancroft, MPH is PHR’s Senior Coordinator for the Health Action AIDS Africa Program. In this role, Emily works closely with PHR’s partner organizations in East Africa to engage health workers in innovative and effective AIDS and health rights advocacy. In 2007-2008, Emily lived in Uganda, working with the Action Group for Health, Human Rights, and HIV/AIDS (AGHA). Emily has a background in international public health, health rights advocacy and NGO capacity building. Prior to joining PHR, Emily was a Quality Improvement Specialist with the International Training and Education Center on HIV/AIDS (I-TECH) at the University of Washington, leading I-TECH’s M&E efforts in their work in Tanzania, Botswana, and South Africa.
